When you decide to escape to the beach for Thanksgiving weekend, you might be wondering: where can I get turkey and stuffing? What’s happening Black Friday weekend? Are things open?
The answer is: yes! Our businesses are open and cooking up delicious feasts for the holidays (see the list below), and shops will be open for Black Friday weekend.
But you won’t find mad dash rushes on the peninsula for Black Friday. Instead, shopping on the peninsula is more like a treasure hunt. Our colorful local shops are the perfect place to find unique gifts for your loved ones.
Take home small-batch spirits from Adrift Distillers, handmade creations from NIVA Green, antiques from Hobo Junction, fresh cranberries from roadside stands–the list goes on!
Plus, the Peninsula Arts Association will be holding its annual Studio Tour virtually.
Tip: Follow us on Facebook for gift ideas and last minute holiday lodging deals.
We would also like to say a big thank you for spending your holiday weekend on the peninsula! We’re so happy to have you here and hope you return again soon. The Visitors Bureau in Seaview will be closed Thanksgiving day, but we’re open all weekend if you have questions about the area.
See you soon!
