Live Music & Festivals in Pacific County

Whether you’re looking for somewhere to kick back after a day on the beach or a rainy day activity, you’ll find live music almost every night on the Long Beach Peninsula. There’s plenty of enjoyable live music happening right now: Bars with fantastic food and specialty drinks (like a cranberry mule or huckleberry lemonade). While a vintage trailer resort and local arts center has beautiful and intimate venues. Order some great food or a drink and enjoy the show.

Don’t forget to mark your calendar for the peninsula’s annual music festival events! Tickets tend to go quickly, and it’s a good idea to plan ahead.

1. North Beach Tavern in Long Beach

North Beach Tavern features live music on most Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. Check their calendar to see who is playing.

You must be 21 or older to dine there. Order a drink from their full bar and an amazing house-made pizza for a laid-back evening. Their menu also includes classics like hamburgers, Rueben sandwiches, and nachos.

 

2. Shelburne Pub in Seaview

The Pub at Shelburne Hotel has live music on most Fridays and Saturdays. Check out their event calendar to see who is playing at this cozy, historic hotel. Their pub has rotating local beers on tap and a full bar. Order anything from a smorgasbord to a Misco-cured sablefish. It’s all delicious!

 

3. Pickled Fish in Long Beach

Located at the top of Adrift Hotel with beautiful panoramic views of the ocean,  Pickled Fish hosts live music most every night. Order drinks from their full bar or savor something from their seasonal menu. They partner with many local and regional farmers and artisans.

 

4. Peninsula Arts Center in Long Beach

The Peninsula Arts Center is an intimate venue with concerts on most Saturdays. This venue might require planning ahead since their concert tickets often sell out, so check their calendar in advance. Show up early for open mic night. Beer, wine, and other refreshments are available.  

 

5. Sou’wester Lodge in Seaview

Sou’wester hosts concerts on most Saturday nights. Their warm and inviting vintage main room is the perfect place to relax. See who is playing on their calendar. Be sure to check out their wellness offerings as well as the variety of workshops they offer! Even if you aren’t staying at the lodge, it’s a great place to revitalize the spirit, use the sauna, and learn something new.

Summerfest

July 14th- September 3rd

Enjoy live music at Veteran’s Field Stage on Thursday’s from 5pm-7pm and Saturday from 1pm-3pm.

 

Waikiki Beach Concert Series

June 25th-Aug 27th 

Every other Saturday from June through August the Waikiki Beach Concert Series at Cape Disappointment State Park features performances from renowned musicians, Situated in an outdoor amphitheater, the scenery is spectacular. From 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.

 

Music in the Gardens Tour

July 9th

Tour the most stunning peninsula gardens, enjoy refreshments, and listen to live music. It’s the perfect way to spend a summer day! This event is hosted annually by the Water Music Society. Follow them on Facebook for updates on when tickets are available and who’s playing.

 

Willapa Harbor Festival in Raymond 

August 5th-7th

Bands, parades, vendors, a flea market, homebrew contest, kids entertainment, and more make the Willapa Harbor Festival a Raymond tradition. Celebrate life on the Willapa during the first weekend in August.

 

Jazz & Oysters

August 13th

Another Water Music Society classic, Jazz & Oysters features world-class jazz artists and (of course) fresh Willapa Bay oysters! The event is held at the Port of Peninsula and offers incredible views of Willapa Bay. Keep an eye on their page for ticket updates and who’s playing.

 

Peninsula R&B Festival

August 26th & 27th

Also held at the gorgeous Port of Peninsula, the Peninsula R&B Festival features local, regional, and national R&B musicians. Vendors provide food, beer, wine, and refreshments. Follow their Facebook page to support this incredible event and get updates.
