Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

You now have the Patroller right and may call yourself a patroller! Please take a moment to read the updated Commons:Patrol to learn how Patrolling works and how we use it to fight vandalism.

As you know already, the patrolling functionality is enabled for all edits, not just for new-page creations. This enables us to keep track of, for example, edits made by anonymous users here on Commons.

We could use your help at the Counter Vandalism Unit. For example by patrolling an Anonymous-edits checklist and checking a day-part.

POTY2016 categories

Hi Uğurkent! I hope you are well. I know how much work it is to categorize the FPs. I have put in some effort to categorize this years' already. Hopefully you find it useful. I will probably do Jul-Sep this week, and then the others monthly until the end of the year. I think I have made some bad decisions, and I'll be correcting my opinions as I go. Hopefully we can work together to keep the workload down! User:Storkk/poty16/cats, let me know if this helps. Hello Uğurkent. I just wanted to let you know that editToken has been removed from Mediawiki, and you still use it in one or more of your userspace scripts. If you want your user script(s) to work properly, please replace editToken with csrfToken in source code of the scripts. You'll need to change the following script(s):

Sonrasında dosya isimlerini -sanırım lisansı uygulamak için- istediler, isimler bugün içinde Cihat Yaycı tarafından atılacak aynı adrese. Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the 2022 Picture of the Year competition is now open. This year will be the seventeenth edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons photo competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2022) to produce a single Picture of the Year.

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year are all entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.

For your convenience, we have sorted the images into topical categories. Two rounds of voting will be held: In the first round, you may vote for as many images as you like. The top 30 overall and the two most popular images in each category will continue to the final. In the final round, you may vote for just three images to become the Picture of the Year.

Round 1 will end on 1 May 2023, 23:59:59 UTC.

TBMM speeches published under a CC license

Hi Uncityoen, I have a little request for to you. Could you give your input in some DRs about such files. One DR would be here. The file was uploaded by myself, I first contested the deletion but now support it. Now someone else contests the deletion. I could upload so many more of similar files, which I do not due to my concerns, and would be happy to know what is correct. Paradise Chronicle (talk) 09:56, 23 November 2023 (UTC)

Hi @Paradise Chronicle: . Probably most of these types of files about TBMM in Commons are shoots of TRT-TBMM TV originally. Maybe there may be journalists broadcasting under VOA or other free licenses. It makes right to find these similar images and nominate possible TRT shoots to deletion.
